Radio Marsden has reached an important milestone in its Studio Rebuild Project, having broadcast the final programme from its old studio in Sutton. On Sunday 6th October, Peter and Rob Newsom ran the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Radio Marsden.
The Newsom family have had a long and close association with Radio Marsden as Peter’s father and Robert’s grandfather Alfred Newsom was a member, Officer and Trustee of the station for a number of years. They were competing in the event in memory of Alfred.
