On 26th May, Radio Marsden, in association with Times Square Shopping Centre, launched their 2012 Mobile Phone Appeal. If you have an old mobile phone in a draw or cupboard gathering dust, take it to one of our many drop-off points (see below).
Not only will you be helping with ethical recycling but for every phone that Radio Marsden collects, we will get a donation which will go towards raising funds to keep the station broadcasting.
We have many of our local schools and the public involved and we’d be delighted if you could play your part. Tell family and friends to hunt down those old mobiles (and any corresponding chargers) and then have a look at the many local drop-off points we have enlisted, work out your nearest, and then pay them a visit! It’s as simple as that…
